ACSOS2024, the 11th Annual Conference on Somali Studies, concluded on 12 December 2024. Held under the theme Engaged Citizens, Competent Institutions, Responsible Government and hosted by Mogadishu University and Hormuud University, the conference featured keynote speeches, a panel on universities and research centres as catalysts for evidence-based public policy, three thematic sessions and two student poster sessions.
